Arkansas Nuclear One - Russellville, Arkansas

 

Gary and I visted friends in Russellville, Arkansas recently.  We took a drive around Lake Dardanelle and I took a few pictures of Arkansas Nuclear One.  I remember when they first opened this nuclear plant.  I remember the fear.  I remember the protests.  It's still there and makes a statement when you see it from across the lake.  

 It had been storming all day and we had a break in the storm after we went eat so we decided a drive around Lake Dardanelle was a good idea.  Here are a few of the pictures I took while we circled the lake.
